This projected was the final project of my second architecture class. The house is located in Laguna Beach. In my design, I separated the living area from the common area by levels. After completed the floor plans, I took a simpler approach on the exterior. For the sunshine in Southern California, I covered the southern part of the house with glass wall. The roof design was inspired by the sun-shade canopy common on the beach. To save energy, solar panels can be put on the roof.

First floor includes one home office which could be used as guest bedroom, one bathroom, one kitchen and dining hall, one meeting hall, one family room, one outdoor backyard, and one outdoor pool
Floor Plan, Second Floor
Second floor is private sector of the house, which includes one master bedroom, two children’s bedrooms, three bathrooms, and one laundry.
